In the Black (ITB) is a youth-led, youth-powered program that makes financial literacy and life skills relatable, real, and fun. Through engaging workshops, real-world tools, and community driven events, we break down complex financial topics into relatable, actionable knowledge.

In The Black Core
The foundation of financial confidence.
ITB Core is a free, 4-session workshop series for Canadian youth ages 18–27. Led by youth, for youth, we break down budgeting, credit, saving, and financial planning into real, relatable tools you can actually use, without jargon or judgment.
In The Black Unlocked
Learning doesn’t stop when sessions end.
ITB Unlocked is our members-only experience for graduates of ITB Core, offering continued learning, community, and exclusive opportunities as the ITB ecosystem grows.
In The Black Live
Learn by doing. Leave ready.
ITB Live is our in-person conference experience. Through hands-on workshops and real conversations with industry voices, participants gain practical life skills and the confidence to thrive in adulthood.
